Tessa looked adorable in ALL her many bathing suits and hats. She slept in the beach tent each day like a precious angel.

We debated brining this big stroller and it ended up being a lifesaver. We didn't realize both kids would fit, but Jude wanted to climb in with Tessa. This actually ended up being our typical mode of transport. They loved it except when Jude squirmed too much and squished little Tessa.
Jude was making chocalate syrup. Yum.
The view from "our spot" on the beach. We claimed it each day as we rose nice and early with the kids. Just enough sun and shade and privacy. And far enough away that Jude didn't throw sand on everybody on the beach.
Tessa got three of her top four teeth while on the trip (fun). This is her new pucker face (Blue Steel) where she feels her teeth with her bottom lip.
He makes a sombrero look cute.
This is Jude enjoying his "adult drink". Nothing adult about it, but it looked like Mommy and Daddy's drinks. Vacation allowed for endless juice whereas he only gets one cup a day at home. That was probably one of his top five favorite things about the trip.

Well, if we hadn't already been informed of the plague coming out of Mexico, it would seem you had a blast! I am so glad that you were able to have a few great days before hell on earth!
Thanks for posting all these fun pictures. Kate loves looking at the blog with me. We end up looking at it, and watching the clips several times!!
