July, oh hot July

The Fourth was fun with parade and fireworks. Jude loved to catch the candy thrown out, and Tessa waved her flag over and over.

Jude liked the fireworks this year and Tessa made it through. You can see her eyes glazing over as her bedtime has long gone.

We headed down to Hilton Head for a beach trip. We had so much fun playing in the sand and water.  The kids absolutely loved the beach and our trip was a great success.

Below is the random petting zoo located at a gas station off I-16.  Please feel free to laugh b/c we just pulled up for gas, but ended up feeding the animals. 

So everyday we loaded up this wagon with kids, tents and toys.  Without it, we would never have made it to the beach.

Tessa had a hard time leaving her paci attached to the stroller.  She pulled for about two minutes before giving up.
